A member of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan Al-Samie, emphasized that the Yemenis have shown indomitable determination in the challenges' face despite the US-Saudi Emirati aggression and blockade.
"During the ten years of aggression and blockade, the Yemenis have been able to turn pain into hope, destruction into construction, and defeat into victory," Al-Samie said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
He pointed out the importance of celebrating the anniversary of the National Steadfastness Day in the Face of Aggression, and honoring the martyrs who sacrificed themselves until the nation's victory over the hordes of invaders and occupiers was achieved.
"The Yemeni people are closing the tenth year of the legendary steadfastness, which is rarely matched, steadfastness, perseverance and sacrifice to bear fruit," he added, stressing the ability of the Yemenis to withstand, persevere and insist on confronting the aggressors.
Al-Samie praised the Yemeni position supporting and defending the Palestinian cause by imposing the naval blockade and targeting the Zionist entity in the occupied territories, standing face to face with America, the head of evil that supports and defends the crimes of its companion Israel.
He pointed out that the world today respects only the strong and Yemen is continuing to complete its strategy and liberate Yemeni lands and expel the occupier by force or by the political and diplomatic path, indicating that Yemen, despite the aggression and blockade, stood in support of the resistance factions, especially in Gaza and the West Bank, won and defended the Palestinian cause with money and soul.
Al-Samie renewed the call to all Yemeni political parties for peace and national reconciliation under the roof of the Republic and the blessed unity, and to strengthen the partnership between Yemenis from Al-Mahra to Sa'ada in power and wealth.
