Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fully responsible for the failure of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, calling on the international community and mediators to pressure him into halting the aggression and returning to the negotiation table.
In a press statement on Wednesday, Hamas emphasized that Netanyahu’s decision to return to war was premeditated, aiming to sabotage the agreement and yield to the blackmail of former National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
Hamas added, "The resistance is doing everything it can to keep the enemy prisoners alive, but the indiscriminate Israeli bombing puts their lives at risk."
Hamas also stressed that Netanyahu is lying to the families of the prisoners when he claims that the military option could bring them back alive, adding, "Every time the occupation attempts to retrieve its prisoners by force, they return in coffins."
