Hajjah - Saba:
Commemorative Ramadan evenings honoring the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib were held in several districts of Hajjah and Amran provinces.
In Hajjah, events took place in Bani al-Tarbi, Kuhlan Afar, Shares al-A'la, and Bayt Qudam. At an evening in al-Hatabi village, officials emphasized the importance of learning from the "calamities" that befell the nation after Imam Ali's martyrdom and urged support for the "revolutionary leadership" against "tyranny."
The officials called for increased worship during Ramadan, Zakat payments, and participation in summer camps to counter "false beliefs." They also urged mobilization for "al-Aqsa Flood camps" and community initiatives.
Shares district mobilization officer Saleh al-Qudami discussed Imam Ali's role in Islam, highlighting his courage and dedication. He condemned the "catastrophe" of his martyrdom, carried out by a "sword attributed to Islam," and stressed the need to rally behind Houthi leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He urged youth participation in summer courses and open military courses, and continued support for Palestine.
In Amran's Maswar district, an evening attended by officials and community leaders focused on Imam Ali's virtues. Guidance Officer Khaled al-Dula'in emphasized the need to renew allegiance to Imam Ali by adhering to "the upright Muhammadan approach."
Cultural activist Karar al-Nusairi described the anniversary as a reminder of the nation's "neglect of its great men and leaders."
Al-Nusairi highlighted the division between "truth and falsehood" and praised the "honorable stances" of those supporting Palestine.
