Settlers, under the protection of Zionist occupation forces, assaulted Palestinian citizens on Sunday evening in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Jerusalem Governorate, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), reported that a group of settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked citizens in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan, with no injuries reported.
In a related context, settlers attacked the homes of citizens in several neighborhoods of the Old City in Hebron on Sunday evening.
Activist Aref Jabr stated that a group of settlers assaulted citizens and their homes in the Jabr and Salaymeh neighborhoods, as well as Wadi al-Nasara, adjacent to the "Kiryat Arba" settlement, which was forcibly established on citizens' lands east of Hebron.
The settlers have significantly escalated their attacks on citizens and their homes, under the protection of occupation forces deployed to safeguard them.
Earlier in the evening, settlers attacked citizens' homes in Wadi al-Husseyn, east of the city, pelting them with stones and empty bottles. Among the homeowners targeted was citizen Kayed al-Jabari, with no injuries reported.
