Secretary General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening in Iran Ali Akbar Velayati strongly condemned on Sunday the brutal attacks and military aggression launched by the United States and Britain against Yemen.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Velayati, in a statement, emphasized that the Yemeni people are at the forefront of the struggle against arrogance and Zionism, and that the aggressors will be defeated, as they have been in the past.
At the same time, Iran strongly condemned the US and British aggression against Yemen, describing it as a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international laws.
Velayati stressed that this aggression is part of the broader context of supporting the genocide against the Palestinians and the continuation of the enemy’s actions in Palestine.
