French club Olympique Marseille announced today, Friday, the extension of the contract of defender Amir Murillo until 2028.

The 29-year-old Panamanian defender has extended his contract with the team until 2028, the club said in a statement on its official website.

Murillo joined the French club in the summer of 2023 from Anderlecht in Belgium, and has played 50 matches , scored 4 goals and 4 assists for Marseille.

Olympique Marseille is second in the overall French league table with 49 points, 13 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, and three points ahead of third-place Nice.
