The media advisor to the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Taher Al-Nunu, said that the movement does not consider the negotiations of the second phase of the agreement to have begun yet, stressing that the occupation's suspension of this phase does not allow for extending the first phase.
Al-Nunu explained in televised statements on Friday, that Hamas is committed to the ceasefire agreement, noting that the responsibility now lies with the mediators to oblige the occupation to implement its provisions.
Al-Nunu stressed Hamas's commitment to the agreement with all its details, provisions and stages, noting that the responsibility lies with the mediators and international parties to oblige the occupation to implement the terms of the agreement and not return to aggression against the Palestinian people.
