Hodeidah - Saba:
The members of the Supreme Coordination Committee paid an inspection visit to follow up on the implementation of Resilience Program 3 projects in Bajil District, Hodeidah, headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Mohammed Qahwan, and officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture.
The visit included development projects such as constructing a water diversion barrier, a diversion channel in Wadi Seham, and paving Al-Damir Road, funded by Binaa Foundation for Development and community participation, within the Improving Livelihoods and Enhancing Resilience project.
The team listened to a progress report from Project Consultant, Mukhtar Al-Samit, and praised the efforts to implement Infrastructure Projects, stressing the need to implement them according to Engineering Specifications to ensure their sustainability.
They also inspected Vocational Apprenticeship Projects, and discussed with beneficiaries the extent to which they benefited from Economic Empowerment Projects and the challenges they face in Managing Small Projects to improve livelihoods.
The Director of the Directorate, Abdul-Moneim Al-Rifai, stressed the local authority’s keenness to support development projects and provide facilities for their success, in line with the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council to make the directorate a model for development and stability.
