The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday, the control of the town of Druzhba in Donetsk province, and the improvement of the positioning of its forces on several axes of the Russian special military operation area.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated in a statement published by the Russian news agency "Sputnik" that units of the Russian "Center" group continued to advance deep into the Ukrainian defenses and took control of the towns of Krymskoye, Baranovka, and Druzhba in Donetsk.

The Russian forces targeted units of two heavy brigades, seven mechanized brigades, two mechanized infantry brigades, guard aircraft, and air vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a marine infantry brigade, two brigades of the National Guard, and the "Leut" assault brigade of the Ukrainian police.
