A meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Capital Secretariat, chaired by Capital Secretariat Mayor Dr. Hamoud Abad, which included Chamber President Ali Al-Hadi and Acting Executive Director of the Yemen Gas Company Yasser Al-Wahdi, discussed ways to provide security and safety means at gas filling stations in Capital Secretariat.
The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Ali Al-Lahji, and the head of the restaurant sector, Mujahid Al-Jaboubi, discussed the mechanism of cooperation between the private sector and the company to enhance the stability of gas supplies, especially for restaurants, and the possibility of introducing tank systems and network extensions for restaurants and hotels in accordance with the approved safety standards.
At the meeting, Dr. Hamoud stressed the importance of taking safety and security measures at gas stations to protect the lives and safety of citizens from its dangers, calling on station owners to adhere to safety and security standards to ensure that their stations are not subject to closure.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed the Chamber's keenness to strengthen the partnership with the gas company to secure the needs of the economic sectors, pointing out the importance of stabilizing supply and prices.
