Gaza - Saba:

The Gaza Strip enters its second day on Monday for the ceasefire agreement and the prisoner exchange deal in the Gaza Strip between Hamas and the "Zionist enemy", and the civil defense and ambulance crews continue to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs from the roads and under the rubble in various parts of the Strip.

According to local sources, 20 unidentified bodies are present in the European Hospital east of Khan Younis.

The civil defense in Rafah retrieved, until yesterday evening, 79 martyrs, 21 of whom were "unidentified", while 14 injured were transferred to Khan Younis hospitals, after the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement.

The civil defense indicated that 12 suspicious objects from the occupation's remnants were neutralized and eight main roads were opened in the city of Rafah.

In addition, the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations said: "More than 630 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip yesterday, 300 of which headed to the north of the Strip."

Aid convoys began entering the Gaza Strip from the Kerem Abu Salem crossing southeast of the Strip, as the World Food Program confirmed that our trucks carrying food parcels began crossing into Gaza through the "Zikim" and Kerem Abu Salem crossings.

A source in the Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced the entry of 552 trucks carrying aid and fuel on the first day of the truce concluded between Hamas and the Israeli side. The source said that the trucks were mostly carrying aid from relief organizations, in addition to fuel.

He pointed out that the movement of trucks entering did not stop until eight o'clock local time, and stated that they entered from three crossings, which are Kerem Abu Salem in the south of the Strip, "Kissufim" in the center, and the northern "Erez" crossing, through which 242 trucks entered. The source also said that 50 trucks loaded with fuel and cooking gas entered the Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect on Sunday 19/1/2025 at 11:15, and was delayed for about two and a half hours, with the "Israeli" occupation claiming that it would not be implemented before the process of handing over the list of female prisoners scheduled for release.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have arrested about 25,000 citizens, including 14,300 detainees from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and others from the Gaza Strip, while 55 prisoners are in the occupation prisons, including 35 prisoners from the Gaza Strip, and the bodies are still being held.

The genocidal war in the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of more than 46,913 citizens, including 17,581 children and about 12,048 women, while about 110,750 others were injured, while 11,000 are missing under the rubble, not to mention the massive destruction of the infrastructure, housing and commercial facilities.
