The Russian Defense Ministry announced Saturday the liberation of the towns of Petropavlovka and Vremivka in the Donetsk Republic, and the infliction of 1,530 soldiers and dozens of tanks, armored vehicles and other Western weapons on Kiev forces within 24 hours.
The Russian Defense Ministry's daily statement on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine stated "Our forces launched strikes with high-precision weapons on the sites of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and the "Luch" design bureau for guided missiles "Neptune" and "Olkha" in Kiev.'
The "North" forces reinforced their positions in the Kharkiv province in northeastern Ukraine and inflicted 30 enemy casualties and destroyed two vehicles and three cannons.
The Russian "West" forces reinforced their positions in the Kharkiv region, inflicting 470 enemy casualties, destroying a tank, two armored vehicles, one of which was an American "M113", five vehicles, eight Western cannons, and an ammunition depot.
The "South" forces reinforced their positions in the Donetsk Republic, inflicting 245 enemy casualties, destroying four vehicles, Western cannons, and an ammunition depot.
The "Center" forces liberated the town of Petropavlovka in Donetsk, inflicting 585 enemy casualties, destroying three armored vehicles, four vehicles, and four Western cannons.
The "East" forces liberated the town of Vremeivka in Donetsk, inflicting 135 enemy casualties, destroying two armored vehicles, three vehicles, five Western cannons, and an ammunition depot.
The Dnepr forces inflicted heavy losses on the Ukrainian army in the Zaporozhye region, repelled an attack, killing 65 people, destroying eight vehicles, a Western artillery piece, and an electronic warfare station.
Russian forces continue to destroy infrastructure, military airports, Western weapons depots, and drone storage and assembly sites.
