An informed Egyptian source confirmed today, Saturday, the end of the Cairo meeting on the mechanisms for implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza amidst a positive atmosphere.
According to what was reported by the Palestinian Information Center, an informed Egyptian source revealed the end of the meeting held in Cairo to discuss the mechanisms for implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.. stressing that the meeting witnessed a positive atmosphere and consensus between all parties.
The source explained that an agreement was reached on all necessary arrangements to ensure the implementation of the agreement, including the formation of a joint operations room in Cairo to follow up on the implementation of the procedures.
He added: "The room will include representatives from Egypt, Palestine, Qatar, the United States and "Israel" to ensure effective coordination and follow up on compliance with the terms of the agreement."
The source pointed out that "this agreement comes within the framework of the efforts made to ensure the cessation of escalation and achieve long-term stability in the Gaza Strip."
