Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected very cold and cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that it expects very cold weather during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Al Bayda with the possibility of frost (thaw) forming in parts of them.
While the weather is expected to be cold in the highlands of Al Jawf, Marib, Al Mahwit, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Al Dhale'e, Shabwa, Hadramout, Al Mahrah and parts of desert areas.
The center stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological monitoring stations this morning reached 2.8 in Dhamar, 4 in Amran, 4.3 in Sana'a, 5.5 in As Saddah - Ibb, 5.6 in Al Bayda, and 9.5 in Al Mahwit.
He warned citizens in the highlands of the cold and very cold weather during the night and early morning hours.
He called on farmers to take the necessary measures to protect crops from the effects of the severe cold, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to preserve them.
