Moscow-Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Sunday, the capture of 16 Ukrainian soldiers near the city of Kurakhovo in the southwest of the Donbas region.
The Russian News Agency quoted the ministry as saying: "The capture of the 16 Ukrainian soldiers was the result of the advance of the 110th Special Brigade of the 51st Army of the Russian Armed Forces, after Russian forces dropped leaflets calling for surrender from a drone on a site where the aforementioned Ukrainian soldiers were located."
The Russian Defense Ministry had announced that its forces had taken control of Kurakhovo on January 6. The city of Kurakhovo is located 46 km from the city of Donetsk.
