Sana'a-Saba :
The leadership and employees of the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration and Development visited the Great Mosque in Sana'a today, as part of the commemoration of Rajab Friday anniversary of the entry of Yemenis into Islam.
During the visit, Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Nasser Al-Mahdar stressed that the visit aims to get acquainted with the features of the Great Mosque because of its psychological impact on strengthening the faith identity.
He pointed to the spiritual and religious importance of the Great Mosque, which was associated with the faith identity of the Yemeni people. He pointed out that the mosque is an Islamic University and an ancient school from which many distinguished scholars graduated in all religious and sharia sciences.
