Dhalea on Sunday concluded a course to prepare trainers in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and life support, and was organized by the local authority and the Health, Environment and General Mobilization Office in the southern governorate.
The 6-day course aimed to provide 80 trainees from various directorates with skills on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to spread awareness about the importance of resuscitation to increase number of trainers in society and enhance confidence in providing first aid.
In conclusion, the governorate's mobilization officer, Ahmed Al-Marani, stressed the need to hold such courses to prepare trainers in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and treating critical cases, to train individuals in hospitals or health centers. In conclusion, certificates were distributed to the participants.
In addition, the governorate's popular health system implemented a field application simulating a virtual war in which governmental and popular medical teams participated, showing methods of dealing with various injuries, including burns and fractures, in addition to implementing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid and emergency procedures.
