12 Palestinian citizens were martyred and others were injured, at dawn today, Friday, in the Zionist enemy shelling of various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency reported the martyrdom of three citizens, including journalist Omar Al-Diraoui, in an occupation shelling targeting a house of the Shalt family in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

He added that four citizens were martyred and others were injured as a result of the occupation targeting a house of the Salman family and a tent next to it west of Deir Al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

A citizen was also martyred as a result of the occupation shelling a house near the Abdul Al junction on Al-Jalaa Street west of Gaza City.

Another citizen was martyred as a result of the occupation aircraft targeting the Abu Al-Ajeen area east of Deir Al-Balah.

She pointed out that the death toll from the occupation's bombing of a house belonging to the Mishmesh family in "Burj Bidas", in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Strip, rose to five martyrs, including two children.

The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of 45,581 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 108,438 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
