Bayda - Saba:
The Tenders Committee in Al-Bayda Province,chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, approved on Monday tenders for a number of service and development projects in the works sector, at a cost of 237 million and 181 thousand riyals.

The tenders included the stone paving project in the 14th Neighborhood Unit in the city of Radaa, starting from the court round to the old market in Safiya neighborhood, at a cost of 97 million riyals, Al-Mashhad Street at a cost of 57 million riyals, and Hiziz from Al-Zahraa School to the street leading to the Grand Mosque, at a cost of 35 million riyals.

The committee approved two projects to purchase stone paving stones in the Malah area in Al-Arash district, at a cost of 11 million riyals, as part of supporting community initiatives, and restoring the collapsed parts of the wall of the historic "Shamar Yahrash" castle in Rada'a district, at a cost of 33 million and 658 thousand riyals.

At the meeting, which was attended by the province's deputies, Abdullah Al-Jamali and Saleh Al-Mansouri, Governor Idris stressed the local authority's keenness to improve services and alleviate the suffering of citizens, pointing out the importance of concerted efforts to implement the development and service projects approved in the investment program, according to priority.

He stressed the need for coordination between the technical committee and the concerned offices in order to contribute to the completion of development and service projects, according to the specified time period.
