Moscow - Saba:
Russia's GDP rose 3.6 percent year-on-year in November, compared to 3.2 percent in the previous month, according to estimates by the Russian Ministry of Economy, Saturday.

The ministry said in a statement that GDP rose by four percent in the period from January to November.

Russian economic growth had fallen to 3.1 percent in the third quarter of 2024, compared to a GDP growth rate of 4.1 percent in the second quarter, and compared to an annual growth of 5.4 percent in the first quarter, according to what the Russian Statistics Agency reported on Wednesday, November 13.

Despite the decline, economic growth recorded during the third quarter was higher than the Russian Ministry of Economy's estimates of 2.9 percent, but slightly lower than the Central Bank's expectations of 3.2 percent.
