Hajjah - Saba:
A meeting held today in Hajjah, chaired by Governor Hilal al-Sufi, focused on aspects related to the development and implementation of urban plans in the center of the governorate.
The meeting brought together key officials including the Director of the Public Works Office, Engineer Mohammed Safi al-Din, Director of the Engineering Unit, Engineer Abdullah al-Haddad, Director of the Directorate, Engineer Essam al-Wazzan, and Deputy Director of the Land Authority Branch, Abdul-Ilah al-Maziqir.
The meeting reviewed the urban plans for several neighborhood units in the center of Hajjah, specifically neighborhoods No. 123, 124, 125, 126, 128, and 129.
These units were discussed in terms of the public service sites they include, with a focus on how to integrate these services into the broader urban development framework.
The meeting emphasized the importance of implementing these new plans on the ground. It was agreed that a committee, consisting of representatives from the Land Authority, Public Works, and the Engineering Unit, would be formed to ensure that the urban plans align with the actual conditions and needs of the area.
This committee is tasked with identifying and addressing any challenges that may arise during the implementation process.
Governor al-Sufi highlighted the urgency of completing the matching work to ensure that street construction can begin, in line with the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council to organize construction work in the region. He also underscored the need for prompt submission of urban plans for effective and organized development.
The governor expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the General Authority for Lands and its branch in Hajjah in preparing these urban plans, acknowledging their contribution to the future growth and development of the province.
