Sana'a-Saba:
The Prime Minister, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, inaugurated the work of the sectoral committees and working groups concerned with completing the process of "merging public service units" and modernizing organizational structures.
In his speech, Al-Rahwi stressed the importance of this national mission to rationalize the administrative apparatus and build the state, pointing to global experiences, such as China, which is managed by a few ministries. He explained that the completion of the merger process is a key pillar for the government's launch in implementing its programs and achieving administrative and economic stability.
He stressed the importance of the committees' commitment in the administrative, financial, legal and technical aspects, and stressed the support of the Supreme Committee for any challenges it may face. He also called for benefiting from national expertise and continuous cooperation to accomplish tasks and achieve the goals of integration.
Al-Rahwi pointed to the importance of localizing industry in vital sectors, such as cement, sugar, particleboard, and dairy, as steps towards economic independence. He also stressed the need to "preserve national unity" and the role of the Yemeni people in building a strong state that achieves justice and sustainable development.
