Sana'a - Saba:
A closing speech event was held in Sana'a to commemorate the annual martyr anniversary & honor the martyrs families , organized by the National University, under the slogan "Martyrdom is a gift that God has rewarded with a gift."
The event was attended by cultural activist Osama al-Mahtouri.
At the event, which was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Sami Sharaf al-Din, cultural activist Osama al-Mahtouri considered jihad for Allah sake as one of the best qurbat, and one of the greatest obediences because it entails upholding the word of religion and confronting the oppressor.
He discussed the status of martyrs and their sacrifices for the sake of God, defending the homeland, its security , independence, supporting the underdog , confronting tyrants and arrogant people.
The President of the National University, Dr. Fathi Sharwan, stressed that the martyr's anniversary is an opportunity to draw lessons from the sacrifices of the martyrs, who gave their lives in defense of the nation's pride and dignity.
In turn, the Cultural Officer of the University Student Forum, Ali Al-Houthi, pointed out, in the speech of the martyrs' families, the martyr anniversary events organized by the university, that the martyrs' sacrifices will remain the pride of the people of the country and its successive generations. He stressed that it is everyone's duty to provide care for the martyrs' families , in honor and gratitude to those who gave their lives and their most precious possessions for the sake of God and the homeland, so that everyone can enjoy life, security and stability.
