Mahweet province on Sunday marked the 57th anniversary of Yemen's Independence Day, November 30, with a speech event organized by the local authority.
The event was attended by key officials, including the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Dr. Ali al-Zikam, Undersecretary Abdulsalam al-Dhamari, and Deputy Head of Mobilization Amer al-Aqhoumi, who emphasized the significance of November 30 in the struggle for freedom from colonial rule.
It highlighted Yemen's resilience and strength under the leadership of the revolution’s leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, noting that the fight against foreign aggression, particularly the Saudi-Emirati coalition, will ultimately prevail.
The event underscored how the September 21 revolution had bolstered national unity and sovereignty, empowering the Yemeni people to reject foreign interference and agents.
