His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 54th National Day of the Sultanate by the brotherly Omani people.

It states:

As the brotherly people of the Sultanate live the joy of the 54th anniversary of the National Day, I am pleased to send to Your Majesty and through you to your dear people my warmest congratulations and blessings, coupled with my sincere wishes to Your Majesty for good health and prosperity.

He prayed to God Almighty to grant the Sultanate and its brotherly people more prosperity, development, and prestige under your wise leadership.

We in the Republic of Yemen are keen to deepen the fraternal relations between our peoples, which have been rooted since ancient times towards a bright future for our two brotherly peoples in all fields.
