Kuwait Stock Exchange ended trading Monday with its general index rising by 38.34 points, or 0.53 percent, to reach 7267.44 points.

581.1 million shares were traded through 26908 cash transactions, worth 114 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 347.7 million US dollars).

The main market index rose by 0.64 points, or 0.01 percent, to reach 6639.55 points, through trading 408.3 million shares through 17887 cash transactions, worth 58.3 million dinars (about 177.8 million dollars).

The Premier Market Index also rose by 50.20 points, or 0.65 percent, to reach 7784.77 points, through trading 172.8 million shares through 9021 transactions, worth 55.6 million dinars (about 169.5 million dollars). In parallel, the (Main 50) Index rose by 9.18 points, or 0.14 percent, to reach 6573.29 points, through trading 263.9 million shares through 11329 cash transactions, worth 39.6 million dinars (about 120.7 million dollars).
