The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Mawlid, met today with the Director of Youth and Sports in Al-Sawma'ah District, Al-Bayda Governorate, Abdullah Al-Shataimi, along with the management of Hilal Auwain Club, Al-Bayda's representative in the Third Division qualifiers, which are being hosted in the city of Mukalla and are aimed at promotion to the Second Division.
During the meeting, the Minister received an update from the Director of Youth and Sports in Al-Sawma'ah about ongoing youth and sports activities in the district, the state of local sports clubs, and the challenges they face.
Minister Al-Mawlid, who was joined by the Executive Director of the Youth Welfare Fund, Abdulhamid Al-Maghribi, emphasized that Al-Sawma'ah District is rich with exceptional sports talent. He congratulated Hilal Auwain Club on reaching the final stage of the Third Division qualifiers and announced financial support for the club.
The meeting, which was also attended by Khaled Al-Battoul, Deputy Director of Centers and Academies at the Ministry, and former national team player Captain Abdullah Al-Thuraya, concluded with the Hilal Auwain Club management presenting the Minister of Youth with an honorary certificate in recognition of his support.
