Sana'a-Saba:
Today, a meeting chaired by the Acting Head of the Tax Authority, Waheed Al-Kibsi, reviewed the performance of units and tax offices in the Capital Sana'a, and other governorates, utilizing Zoom technology for the discussions.

The meeting, which included the Authority's Undersecretary Abdulrahman Al-Junaid, the Assistant Undersecretaries, the Head of the Technical Office, the General Directors of the Authority, and the directors of the executive units, reviewed the performance results during the last period of the fiscal year 2024.

He discussed the conditions of the offices the challenges they face during the fieldwork and the plans that have been prepared for the coming period. He stressed the need to accommodate all the observations and directives provided by the Acting Chairman of the Authority within the executive work programs for the next stage.

In the meeting, Al-Kibsi stressed the importance of serious interaction with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the Supreme Political Council and the program of the government of change and construction aimed at strengthening and developing the participatory relationship between the authority and the tax community following the principles of justice and legal obligations.

He pointed to the need to work according to a clear methodology to establish a new phase for the course of this relationship, especially the guidelines related to facilitating and simplifying all tax procedures and providing services with ease. He pointed out that the relationship with taxpayers is not limited to the aspect of revenue collection, but also includes highlighting the efforts of the private sector in the development process and supporting the national economy.
