IBB - SABA: A meeting in al-Sayani district of Ibb province has addressed the operation and maintenance of rural water projects.
Led by Majid al-Shami and Mohammed al-Nu'ah, the discussion involved local project directors and administrative bodies, focusing on the current status and performance of existing water projects, as well as identifying stalled initiatives.
Participants reviewed the challenges faced by these projects and outlined necessary actions for improvement.
A joint administrative and technical committee was formed to visit the projects in the field and assess needs for better service delivery.
Emphasizing the importance of resource preservation and cost management, officials highlighted the potential for using solar energy to reduce reliance on diesel for water supply.
They reiterated the need for community involvement and ongoing collaboration to secure funding for rehabilitating water systems, ultimately aiming to provide clean water to local residents.
