Occupied Quds - Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, stated on Friday that the incitement campaigns targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque, which include calls for its destruction and arson, along with the continuous intrusions under the occupation's protection, represent a perilous escalation.
Hamas said in a statement that the campaigns come within the framework of Zionist plans aimed at Judaizing Al-Aqsa Mosque, obliterating its landmarks, and subjecting it to the control of settlers.
Hamas warned of the consequences of any attempt by the Zionist enemy government and settlers to harm Al-Aqsa Mosque and its Arab and Islamic identity, stressing that Al-Aqsa represents a major title for the conflict between the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nation on the one hand, and the fascist occupation on the other.
It called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and confront Zionist plans, and called on Arab and Islamic countries, including the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to shoulder their responsibilities in protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people in light of the genocide and comprehensive aggression they are subjected to.
In a dangerous precedent, the Temple Mount Activists recently posted a video of the burning of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, accompanied by the caption: "Soon these days."
