BEIRUT September 07. 2024 (Saba) - Killing of the American activist in the West Bank is not the first crime committed by the Zionist army that tries to silence voices supporting the Palestinian Cause, member of Islamic Jihad Movement's politburo said late on Friday.
The Zionist Christians in the U.S. administration certainly support the occupier in its project to join the West Bank, Ali Abu Shaheen added in remarks to Mayadeen, as the U.S. administration covers the Zionist program aimed at omitting the Palestinian Cause.
Indirect negotiation meeting the resistance's demands is the only way to release the prisoners, he said, noting that Netanyahu deals with the prisoner issue as an arm-twist and is unwilling to reach a deal, and that there is no imminent dimension to settle this issue.
"While we seek to reach a ceasefire deal that would "put an end to carnages and oppression against our people, the longer aggression won't to the interest of, but rather an attrition for, the enemy."
The resistance will not yield, he added, as constant steadiness is the only option available for the Palestinian people and their resistance.
Asked about Arab national security, Abu Shaheen said the regimes are required to back the Palestinian steadiness instead of failing the Palestinian people and cooperating or normalizing with the Zionists.
