GAZA September 06. 2024 (Saba) -The Israeli military has maintained the closure of Gaza Strip crossings for 123 days following the invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
"According to a report from the "Palestine Today" news agency, on Friday, the authorities closed the Rafah and Karem Abu Salem land crossings. This action was taken despite warnings from humanitarian and relief organizations, as well as international demands to reopen the crossings to prevent a potential famine due to the interruption of aid. It is also crucial to save the lives of thousands of sick and wounded individuals."
The World Food Programme (WFP) has issued a warning that two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are experiencing food insecurity. The organization is troubled by the decrease in the amount of aid operations being carried out in Gaza.
The government media office demanded the opening of the Rafah and Karem Abu Salem crossings, the entry of aid and goods, and an end to the ongoing genocidal war for the 11th consecutive month.
