SANA'A September 05. 2024 (Saba)- The Greatest Prophet Festival activities kicked off on Thursday in Sana'a, which is organized by the Imam Al-Hadi Foundation in Sana'a, through a program that celebrates the Prophet's birth anniversary (PBUH) and presents stations from his life and his relationship with the Yemeni Ansar.
At the opening, the Culture and Tourism Deputy Minister, Abdullah Al-Washli, head of the Imam Al-Hadi Foundation, explained that the festival includes morning and evening events and competitions in which a number of Yemeni chanting stars and giants of poetry who have always sung in praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) participate.
Abdul Ghani Al Hakim, production manager at the Imam Al Hadi Foundation, explained that more than 11 theatrical performances will be presented during the days of the festival, embodying the nation's cause of Gaza, Yemen's support for Gaza, and other issues presented in a comedic and tragic way.
The Culture and Tourism Deputy Minister , along with the Acting Director General of the General Organization for Radio and Television, Abdulrahman Al-Ahnoumi, inaugurated the local products pavilion accompanying the festival.
The exhibition includes displays of local national products such as fruits, honey, onyx, silverware, perfumes, incense, and accessories.
The exhibition aims to market local national products and introduce them to the public on the days of the festival.
The opening ceremony included the presentation of a painting titled "An Endless Story", which talks about the birth of the Prophet (PBUH) and the stations of his life, patience, jihad and perseverance.
