MOSCOW September 02. 2024 (Saba)- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that his country and Tehran will finalize preparations for a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two countries very soon.

Russian news agencies quoted Lavrov in a statement on Monday, saying: "There are only some technical parts of this agreement left." He pointed out that the agreement includes all aspects of the partnership between Iran and Russia.

The Russian foreign minister considered this comprehensive cooperation agreement to be a symbolic step in terms of Russian relations with the new Iranian government.
