SANA'A September 01. 2024 (Saba)- The Customs Authority organized on Sunday in Sana'a a cultural awareness seminar on the negative effects of the activities of the US and Israeli spy network on the national economy and the customs role in limiting its damage.
In the seminar, which was attended by the head of the department, Engineer Adel Merghem, and the leaders and employees of the department, the deputy head of the Shafi'i Islamic Council, Radwan Al-Mahia, spoke about the spy network's targeting of the national economy.
He reviewed many evidence of the US-Israeli conspiracy against the country by using spies to destroy the national economy in all fields, pointing out that the enemy worked through the spy network to target local products with the transforming aim the Yemeni citizen from a producer to a consumer.
Merghem explained that the US-Zionist enemy worked through the network of spies to collect limited circulation information, including the state's general budget, not to mention the weakening of the national currency.
He touched on the negative effects of targeting the economic aspect and the role of customs in limiting its damage, pointing out the important role played by the Customs Authority to confront this targeting.
During the seminar, a number of video reports were presented on the spy network 's confessions regarding the national economy and its association with US intelligence to carry out sabotage and destruction plans.
At the end of the seminar, a statement was issued by the employees of the department, in which they congratulated the security and intelligence authorities for their unique success and achievements in the security aspect, including the detection of the spy cell that worked for the enemy to harm the economy and resources of the Yemenis, considering this achievement as a victory that will be recorded in the pages of history.
The statement pointed out that the exposure of these subversive elements to public opinion is living evidence for the Arab and Islamic regimes to wake up from their slumber , make radical changes to their facilities , ministries , reconsider the prioritization and monitoring of foreign embassies.
The statement announced the authorization of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to take the best options to defend the interests of the Yemenis in all fields, calling for the follow-up of the remaining elements of the spy cell, as they are equipped with technologies and devices that enable them to work secretly, which represents an existing danger to state institutions.
The statement stressed that the Customs Authority is and will remain the first line of defense to protect the economy , society and will spare no effort in performing its sacred duty towards the people.
