Lapid: Kidnappers are running out of time & we have to make deal now to bring them back

OCCUPIED QUDS August 28. 2024 (Saba) - Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said Tuesday that the recovery of 108 prisoners held by the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" in Gaza is not possible through special operations and that their time is running out.

The Zionist enemy media quoted Lapid as saying: "We will not be able to return 108 kidnapped from Gaza through special operations, the kidnappers do not have time and the deal must be concluded now and returned."

The opposition leader's remarks come after the Zionist enemy army announced on Tuesday the liberation of a Zionist prisoner from the southern Gaza Strip, without revealing the details of the operation, while Zionist media said that he "managed to escape."

The New York Times quoted Israeli officials as saying: "The hostage Farhan al-Qadi was found by chance during an operation to control the tunnels in southern Gaza." They pointed out that "the Zionist commando team found Farhan al-Qadi alone without guards."

For his part, the spokesman for the Zionist enemy army claimed that "the kidnapper was freed by members of the naval commando unit, the 401st Brigade, the Yahallum engineering unit and members of the Shin Bet under the command of the 162nd Division in a complex liberation operation in the southern Gaza Strip."

Al-Qadi is one of the six Bedouins abducted on October 7, and he is the eighth hostage to be rescued alive from the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war.
