NEW YORK August 25.2024 (Saba) - The United Nations on Sunday called on everyone to cease fire and refrain from further escalation in light of worrying developments along the Blue Line in southern Lebanon.
According to Ma'an News Agency, the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon and UNIFIL said in a brief statement: "A return to a cessation of hostilities, followed by the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, is the only sustainable way forward."
The northern border of occupied Palestine 48 since the eighth of last October witnessed severe tension and exchange of gunfire between the Zionist enemy army, and the Islamic resistance in the Lebanon of the Allah Party, which led to deaths and injuries on both sides.
