SANA'A August 22. 2024 (Saba) -Sana'a Culture House on Thursday saw a party to sign and proclaim the second edition of the 'Mikhlaf (district of) al-Shaer - History and Culture' book authored by Affan Saleem.

The book talks about the history and culture of Shaer, a district in the Yemeni central governorate of Ibb, chairman of the Book Public Authority said at the party.

The book is scientifically, systematically divided into two chapters that are divided into several parts, Abdurrahman Murad added, noting that each "part includes a theme in an integral sequence that gives a complete picture of the place.

"It defines the geography and history of the place, and life aspects and social development in the district, in terms of customs, traditions, architectural patterns, clothing, services and aesthetic features of the nature."
