GAZA August 20. 2024 (Saba) - The head of public relations at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip, Wissam Al-Sakani, stated that the hospital administration warns of a work stoppage in the coming hours.

Al-Sakani said in a special interview with the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) commenting on the health situation in the hospital, today, Tuesday: "Today we are entering a new catastrophe and a new crisis from the Zionist enemy entity crises fabricated due to the failure to bring in fuel and the failure to bring in medical aid."

He added: "Our children in Kamal Adwan Hospital are dying of hunger due to malnutrition, colds, chest diseases, and the spread of epidemics such as hepatitis, and today we are entering a fuel shortage crisis." He stressed that from time to time, countries around the world are appealed to bring in fuel to operate the hospital.

He cited one of the children who depends on the use of a ventilator, stressing that if this child stops breathing and his temperature drops, he will suffer major health problems and oxygen deficiency. He stressed that these children need special care.

Al-Sakani cited one of the children who depends on the use of a ventilator.. stressing that if this child stops breathing and his temperature drops, he will suffer major health problems and oxygen deficiency.. stressing that these children need special care.

He pointed out that the hospital has intensive care, and the ventilators in this care if the oxygen is lost, the children may die and we will receive news in the next few hours of the death of most of the children due to the power outage in this only hospital that provides this service after most of the Ministry of Health hospitals went out of service.

Al-Sakani specifically appealed to all countries of the world and the World Health Organization to intervene and pressure the Zionist enemy entity to bring fuel to this hospital and find alternatives to operate the hospital, operating rooms, intensive care and the kidney dialysis department.

He explained that the kidney dialysis department was stopped today, in front of the children of Gaza and the elderly who undergo kidney dialysis.

At the end of his speech, the head of public relations at Kamal Adwan Hospital confirmed that the hospital is facing a difficult stage and a new health disaster, God forbid, in the event that fuel is not available to operate the hospital and its services.
