DHAMAR August 19. 2024 (Saba) – Dhamar University organized on Monday a student and academic march under the banner "In Support of al-Aqsa and Gaza... Support Continues and the Response is Coming."

The demonstration saw participants waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans condemning the ongoing violence and alleged genocide perpetrated by the Israeli forces against Gaza.

The rally was a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation.

The marchers expressed their endorsement of the newly formed Government of Change and Construction, viewing it as a crucial step towards significant transformation.

They voiced full support for the leadership’s initiatives and measures aimed at achieving radical change.

The event also highlighted support for a major military response from the resistance axis against what they termed as Zionist aggression.

The participants issued a statement criticizing the lack of action from the Arab and Islamic world in aiding Gaza, and they pledged continued mobilization and unity in support of Palestinian resistance, particularly Hamas.

Additionally, the marchers saluted the Yemeni Armed Forces for their ongoing efforts in what they termed as a battle of promised conquest and holy jihad, under the leadership of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

The statement concluded with a call for ongoing demonstrations and increased mobilization, asserting that such actions would only strengthen the resolve of the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples and their resistance movements.
