GAZA August 09. 2024 (Saba) - Eight Palestinian civilians were killed and others were wounded at dawn on Friday in raids launched by Zionist warplanes, targeting the camps of Nossairat, Maghazi and Jabalia, as well as the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian News Agency, health sources said three civilians were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli raid that targeted a house belonging to the Matar family, west of the Nossairat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two civilians were also killed as a result of a similar Israeli raid targeting houses in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources spoke that the Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Block Four in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in three martyrs and a number of injuries, while a number of citizens were killed and injured as a result of targeting a tent for displaced people in Al-Shawafin area in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.

The Israeli occupation army continued to shell and blow up houses and blow up residential blocks in the Rafah governorate, where several houses were blown up west of the city.

On Thursday afternoon, 39 citizens were killed in the Israeli occupation warplanes' bombardment of two schools housing displaced people east of Gaza City, and homes in the central and southern Gaza Strip.

The toll of the occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources, has risen to 39,699 martyrs, and 91,722 injured since the seventh of October, 2023, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
