HAJJAH August 08. 2024 (Saba) - The presidential committee tasked with field visits to areas affected by floods in Hajjah Province has begun its work to help those affected.
The committee tasked with dealing with flood damage, along with leaders from Hajjah Province, reviewed the damage extent in some areas in Midi District and other districts of the province.
The committee began providing emergency aid to affected by the floods, as well as assessing the damage to public and private property and agricultural lands.
The committee also took precautionary measures in anticipation of a new wave of floods, according to the National Center for Meteorology's forecasts, to limit any damage to public and private property.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency Saba Nasr al-Din Amer confirmed that His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, is following up on the committee's work and is interested in addressing the damage.
