MAHWEET August 08. 2024 (Saba) — Engineer Mukhtar al-Turki, representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Mahweet province, on Thursday inspected several road projects in al-Tawilah district, which are being carried out through community initiatives with support from the Ministry of Finance's Central Emergency Interventions Unit.

Al-Turki reviewed the progress of various projects, including the paving of a stone road with flood channels in Beit al-Radai Safouf, serving over 11,000 people at a cost of nearly 94 million riyals.

Other projects inspected include the paving of a road in al-Lakmah Beit al-Jalal, benefiting 29,000 people, and a road on Bab al-Ahjar al-Mahjar, aiding 4,000 people.

He emphasized the Ministry of Finance's commitment to supporting community initiatives that address essential needs, particularly in infrastructure, and praised the local efforts in these projects aimed at alleviating citizens' suffering and fostering development.
