MOSCOW August 02. 2024 (Saba) -The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces managed to liberate five new towns in the Donetsk Republic and destroy hundreds of armored vehicles, tanks, and Western weapons of the Kyiv forces, as well as shoot down 375 drones within a week.
In its weekly report, the Russian defense said: "Since 27 last month until today, our forces have directed 11 strikes on the manufacturing and maintenance sites of armored vehicles, tanks, drone depots, ammunition depots, rocket weapons, and artillery, and repelled many attacks on the axes of the fighting, during which 13,570 military personnel were killed and wounded, Ukraine."
The towns of Lozhovaskoy, Rogris, Yevginovka, Volcy, and Leninskoye in the Donetsk Republic were liberated and three US-made Patriot air defense platforms and three Mars-El radar stations were destroyed, the ministry said.
Russian air defense systems also shot down a MiG-29 fighter, a Su-25 attack aircraft, a Neptune missile, seven US-made Atacams missiles, four French Hummer guided bombs, two Patriot anti-air missiles, 47 US-made Himars missiles, and 375 drones.
