GAZA July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has announced an official and public funeral ceremony for the martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Thursday, followed by the transfer of his body to Doha, Qatar.
Hamas stated that the funeral prayer for Haniyeh will be held at the Imam Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahab Mosque in Doha after Friday prayers.
The ceremony in Doha will include the participation of the public, various factions, and Arab and Islamic leaders.
Additionally, the Iranian government has declared three days of public mourning following Haniyeh's martyrdom.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also announced a day of mourning with flags at half-mast to honor Haniyeh.
