TEHRAN July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that investigations into the dimensions and details of the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh are ongoing.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a statement: “We offer our condolences to the Palestinian people, Hamas, all Palestinian resistance factions, all resistance factions, peoples and countries supporting the Palestinian cause for the martyrdom of Haniyeh,” adding: “There is no doubt that the blood of Haniyeh and other martyrs on the path to liberating holy Al-Quds and liberating the oppressed Palestinians from the clutches of the Zionist occupation will never be in vain.”

The Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that Haniyeh's martyrdom in Tehran will strengthen the deep and strong ties between Iran, Palestine and the resistance.
