BAGHDAD July 30. 2024 (Saba) - Iraqi forces arrested on Tuesday a terrorist from ISIS south of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

"Alsumaria News" website quoted Baghdad Operations Command in a statement saying "With the aim of pursuing the remaining terrorist elements and in a tight ambush, a terrorist belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS was arrested, after receiving accurate intelligence information indicating his presence and monitoring his movements in al-Latifiya area south of the capital Baghdad."

The Operations Command explained that the terrorist was handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against him.

The Iraqi forces had arrested nine ISIS terrorists last Friday during security operations in the governorates of Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk and Nineveh.
