BAGHDAD July 30. 2024 (Saba) - Member of the Iraqi Nasser Coalition on Monday underlined the need for military plans to tackle the Turkish invasion on Iraq, as the Turkish operation start in the fifth month, based on history in last years.

The Turkish justification to invade more than 50 kilometers of Iraqi lands, under the pretext of Kurdistan Labor Party, contradicts the reality, Salam al-Zobaidi told 'Maaloma' agency, as "Turkey has now a season to invade and bomb" Iraq.

Erdogan's recent visit was aimed to pressure the Iraqi government into bartering the invasion for water, he argued, noting that the government cooperated with Turkey in order to defeat the Kurdistan Labor Party.
