BAGHDAD July 30. 2024 (Saba) - The commander of the 54th Brigade of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces in Anbar Governorate, Brigadier General Saleh Fadel Al-Issawi, announced on Tuesday, the readiness of the Popular Mobilization Forces to receive the security file from the army forces.
Al-Issawi said in a statement reported by the Iraqi "Al-Maalouma" Agency: "The Popular Mobilization Forces have completed all their readiness to receive the security file from the army forces in the city of Fallujah, based on the directives of the senior security leadership and the evacuation of all army sites from the cities to control the areas of the western Anbar desert."
He added: "Fallujah district is witnessing great security stability without any security breach for a long time thanks to the security deployment of the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces.
" Al-Issawi continued: "The date for completing the handover of the army forces' sites to the local police forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces is the end of this month." He indicated that "the Popular Mobilization Forces are capable of receiving the security file from the army forces and filling all security gaps and carrying out security tasks."
