DHARMA July 28. 2024 (Saba) - The construction and expansion works of the Bukhran Al-Shamahi Road were inaugurated on Sunday in Ans District in Dhamar Governorate, with the direct support of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Finance.

During the inauguration, Deputy Governor Ali Ahmed Atef stressed the importance of road projects in facilitating the movement of citizens and enhancing basic services and infrastructure in rural areas.

He praised the efforts of the Emergency Central Intervention Unit in supporting this project, calling for the expansion of these vital projects to include various directorates.

Undersecretary Atef urged citizens to interact and take advantage of the support provided by the Central Emergency Intervention Unit to implement community initiatives.

For his part, the Deputy Director of the Central Intervention Unit, Eng. Faris Al-Shamahi, explained that the road project includes construction and expansion works with a length of eight kilometers, fully funded by the unit. He pointed out that the project will serve the isolation of Wadi al-Har and neighboring villages, by reducing the burdens and distance of citizens' movements.

He pointed out that these projects come within the framework of the program to improve the quality of rural roads service implemented by the unit, in translation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the Supreme Political Council.

Abdullah Al-Fatimi, a resident of the region, stressed the importance of the project in facilitating citizens' access and services to their villages. He thanked the leadership and the Central Intervention Unit for implementing the project.

The inauguration was attended by the representative of the Intervention Unit in Dhamar and Al-Bayda governorates, Engineer Mohamed Nashwan.
